Infant Pattern Baldness
In keeping with posts on the topic of hair.....
As mentioned on the "ABOUT" page, Little Scout is a watchful one. In fact, she’s rubbed off all her hair across the back in a straight line, from scanning back-and-forth, back-and-forth. My husband has dubbed her The Overseer since she sits in one of her various baby receptacles (swing, bouncer, bumbo seat, car seat, somebody's arms) and keeps a close eye on all our movements.
A lot of the rest of her hair is falling out anyway, so now she only has a few patches left, which has prompted the purchase of several of these, since none of her little hairclips will stay on anymore:

Unfortunately, infantile baldness isn’t just for male babies. Maybe Little Scout can ask for some hair for Christmas. If not real hair, then at least “fake hair with real results.”
